Okee here is the story

I had the mssearchnet virus or whatever you call it
so I searched it up here and did everything on that thread to get rid of it

I did manage to delete that one but whenever I log on
on the buttom rite there is an annoying system instrusion detected sign poping out every 2 seconds.. and everytime I reboot I automatically download this anti-malware program called "spyware strike"

so I did all the downloads and updates for spybot, ad-aware, hijackthis, etc.
all used in safe mod.. followed the instructions

my hijackthis log looks like this

Okee i did another hijack
and this is how it came out

im not sure which one it is anymore

im gussing its either

O23 - C:\WINDOWS\System32\Ati2evxx.exe
023 - C:\WINDOWS\system32\brsvc01a.exe
023 - C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Driver\11\Intel 32\IDriverT.exe

i dunno =[!!!

i uninstalled spyware striker but everytime i reboot or once in a couple hours.. it ll just reinstall itself!

its similar to the spyaxe one but its not .. im so mad i emailed spyware striker

im also now using firefox

boot in safemode.
turn OFF system restore
run your antivirus with updates
run spybot/ adware/ and ewido

when nasties are removed, boot in normal mode and turn on system restore

NOTE- antiviruses will not remove root kits.

i just did what you asked me to do

did the following

got norton 2006 anti virus
updated it
updated - ad aware, spybot, ewildo

turned off system restore

got into safe mode

ran
norton
adaware
spybot
ewildo

rebooted

and the annoying things is still there! =[

they said they found a few things
but nothing big..

norton found 10 viruses i remember
adaware found like 5
spybot found like 11
ewildo found nothing

im really getting frustrated.. i ve been fighting this thing for 2 days now

i even bought a real copy of norton.. and still im getting pwned!

The following link gives instructions to remove SpywareStrike. Personally, I'd try the manual removal first. Can't vouch for it's effectiveness though.
