What can I use to make hip-hop beats. You know the type I'm talking about; the heavy, bassy beats. I guess I need a drum machine if that is what they call it. Which is the best? I need something that is editable and by that I mean have it play like I'm actually playing a drum. I know about loops but those are predefined beats that goes on and on. I want something that is dynamic if you get what I'm saying. I can tell it to beat at a certain point in time and a certain duration. What am I talking about?
