Help needed with "CiD" popups

Hi,
I'm new to forums and need some help. I keep getting popups entitled "CiD: something" and do not know how to get rid of them.

I am running Symantec Antivirus, along with Spybot - Search & Destroy and Ad - Aware 2007 and none of these have been successful in eliminating the problem.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Go and read this - Very Important:
If your system is infected, read this before deciding whether to Clean or Format.

If after reading the above you wish to clean your system, then do the following: Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions Follow all instructions exactly.

Please post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments. Please post in this thread, but only after doing the above.

Also let me know the results of AVG Anti-Rootkit scan.

I had a similar problem and went to Control Panel >Add/Remove programmes and removed CiD from there. But that might be too easy!!
