Help on processor selection

I'm looking for a new computer, preferably Gateway, and was wondering is a Intel Pentium dual core a good, reliable, cool processor for gaming? Someone point me in the right direction. Help appreciated.

U havnt mentioned your budget.
Pentium Dual Core E2140 (1MB L2 cache 1.60Ghz 800MHz FSB)
Pentium Dual Core E2160 (1MB L2 cache 1.80Ghz 800MHz FSB)
These are the low budget, but value for money

DO NOT BUY a box computer.

build it yourself if you want a gaming system for cheap.
