Help please (single channel memory)

Hi.
My motherboard has gone back for repairs & in the mean time I bought a cheap asus motherboard (single channel memory) and all my games like Battlefield 2, Call of Duty 2 and Need for Speed Most wanted run like 50% slower then my old MB with dual channel.

Do you loose that much with the newer games and only single chanel?
Is there anything I can do, Ive got a gig of ram & all the latest drivers firmware, no virus's etc?

So you are running everything else the same?

Same video card
Same ram
Same CPU

just the motherboard is changed?

Can you give us the details of the parts above, as well as the motherboard you had, and the one you are using now?

Not much you can do, I'm afraid- and yes, with Intels- single channel memory can be much, much slower for performance... especially in memory hungry games like BF2.
