  1. Hello,

I dunno anything about video cards (not even sure what i have lol).

I was told to right click ond esktop and properties and go to display then to adapter? It says i have ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 series, but it says in memory that its 256 MB?!?!

Although i remember the seller telling me it was in the 50s, plus games requirin 64 mb and more run very slow.

Seller also had told me i could always add memory later in the agp slot.

    My questions are:

1-How do i know if i have those slots required to add?

2- If i do have them, what should i add and get? i dont want the pricy top stuff, but something that all games will play on?

If i dont have those slots, what can i do or get?

    Thanks a lot.

The Radeon 200 is onboard and uses system memory. You probably have a PCIe 16x slot (not AGP) for a real video card! Just about any PCIe card would be a upgrade. More info on the motherboard and PSU would be usefull.

Every motherboard I've seen with a Radeon Express 200 chipset has atleast one PCI Express x16 slot--that is your catagory 2 in your list. I think one of the GeForce 6600 256MB cards would be the best choice.
