HELP!! Why won't my computer play my games!?

  1. Hey guys,

    Im a newbie....

I just installed Tiger Woods 2004 onto my laptop. Its a Toshiba Satellite 1905 and my operating system is XP sp2. I get the stupid BSoD screen when I start playing, i can select my character and everything. However, once it loads to actually play, i get the stop screen.

    I get these reason codes...

    ***STOP: 0x000000E8 (0x000000005, 0xBFA9F783, 0xEF702A18, 0x00000000)

    ***STOP: ati3d1ag.dll address BFA9F783 base at BFA08000, datestamp 3c9bebfd

I tried Googling all of these reasons and came up with nothing to fix it. I need some serious help.... any suggestions? Is this a problem with my drivers or RAM and if so what do i need to do to fix it.

    Thanks,

Does your laptop have "at least" the minimum requirements to run the game? I'd suspect looking at the video requirements specifically.

Based on the ati3d1ag.dll you seem to have an ati radeon card, try upgrading its drivers

Since you have an ATI card,
start by updating drivers - get the new 5.12 (try getting Omega 5.12)
turn VPU recover off, and turn fastwrites off,
that frequently solves most of the crashes on ATI cards.

    Hope this helps!
