help with asrock p4s61 motherboard and ddr ram

    hello i just needed some help with a ddr ram problem
    i have 1 stick of
    256 MB (PC3200 DDR SDRAM)
    so i took this into a pc shop and said i wanted another 2 sticks of this ram to put into my motherboard to speed up the pc.
    They sold me 2 x 256mb pc 3200 164 pin ddr dimm sticks i then stuck them into my 2 spare ram slots on the mother board and the pc wont boot up with them in.
    are these the right sticks i need or have i bought the wrong thing?
    any help would be of help
