Help with BSOD 0x0000007E..

[RubyFalls]

So my roommate's computer recently blue screened, and I can't find anyone else who has asked about this particular error. The OS is XP, and the only information it gives on the problem is:

Technical information:
*** STOP: 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0x8B20F562, 0xBA50B7EC, 0xBA50B4E8)

Can anyone help me to figure out what that means and a possible solution?


I'm not too tech savvy, so I might need pretty detailed instructions for a fix.

Is this the only Blue Screen he has gotten or has there been more? Has he installed or updated any software, changed hardware, etc.?
