Help With Flash Drive

  1. A friend of mine is trying to back up some picture type files on a Flash Drive. She posted the following and needs some help. Any ideas from anyone? Thanks so much.

It has 128mb and my pics have 60mb...space is no problem. Naturally though I was able to select all when I tried to download them, got a couple hundred in when I started to encounter a pop up window telling me that it couldn't create or copy the file...that's it...and when I click on ok the download stops and I have to start all over again. Nevertheless after that first one all the others that followed couldn't be copied either.

Do you have the necessary permissions? Maybe it is read-only. If that's the case, you can fix it by going into the flash drive's properties and making it not read-only. I'm not sure what else could be the problem, unless the drive is faulty.
    hoping to help

One could just reformat the drive before copying the pictures to make sure there are no filesystem issues.

And of course, the flash drive may be bad.
