Help with Norton

okay so i have norton 2007 installed on my laptop. i have everything set up to connect to a wireless network. it connects to an xp desktop. i have it all working there is only one problem, to access the files on vista with norton i have to turn off norton's personal firewall. i click the setting turn off permanently, but once i restart it automatically resets it. any suggestions on how to allow the sharing in norton.

The best suggestion would be to un-install Norton
And once done, restart, then run the removal tool
But this is only after years of experience, and thousands of Norton issues (so your choice)

If you are then after Antivirus try Free Antivirus like Avast or Avira

would you recommend spybot or avg becauuse i have used them before and would know how to use them. also is there a removal tool for webroot spysweeper

Neither Spybots or AVG

I'd recommend Avira (as stated earlier)
And Malwarebytes (as per our removal guide)

As for spysweeper (another high resourced program) just un-install Norton (+ the removal tool) then try again
