A blue screen keeps popping up every now and then. I've reformatted the computer several times and it's still happening. The computer is also slower than it was before i reformatted. I'm using Windows XP. And when i play games the game just freezes. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

    512 Kingston Ram
    AMD Anthlon 64 processor 3700+
Leadtek Winfast Geforce PX7600 GS TDH
    Winfast NF4uk8AA motherboard

And i'm not that good with computers so i'll try my best to provide information if needed. Thanks

My friend told gave me this site to update my nividia driver to "93.71_forceware_winxp2k_english_whql" is that correct?

It won't hurt to try it... many system configurations with Nvidia video cards need different video driver revisions. Trial and error is all some can do. Nvidia has some of the most troublesome video drivers out there for users of the Windows Operating Systems

    Hi Takn,

You haven't changed the nVidia Display Card Driver. Sometimes the latest device driver is not stable and you have to get a stable graph device driver.

Any links to drivers I should download?
    I've tried:

"93.71_forceware_winxp2k_english_whql" (installs but still get problem)

    "84.63_forceware_mobile_winxp2k_international_whql(1)" (says no hardward compatible)

    "61.77_win2kxp_english" (cannot render graphic)

    "91.47_forceware_winxp2k_english_whql" (games still crashes)

    anyone know how to fix?
  12. Tmagic650 TechSpot Ambassador

I know this is a real pain. I don't use Nvidia so I don't know what else to tell you. This may be an incompatibility between your Winfast NF4uk8AA motherboard and the video card. Can you get your hands on another video card for testing purposes?

it was working fine before i reformatted so i don't know =(

anyone can tell me what this minidump says?

sorry had some trouble uploading the file.

Your last minidump is crashed at nvapu.sys and nVidia Audio Driver.

    Mini011107-01.dmp BugCheck 100000D1, {f31414b0, 2, 8, f31414b0}
    Probably caused by : nvapu.sys ( nvapu+44b0 )

Your windows is installed an unstable version of nVidia display card driver. For problem diagnostic puprose, you had better install an older version of nVidia Display Driver hence it can eliminate it is not display card driver problem.

Your windows is crashed randomly and it is the symptom of hardware error. Probably the ram or motherboard is faulty. Run memtest to stress test the ram.
