I have recently bought a new motherboard that has a 24 pin front panel hookup. The hookup on my case is 12 pin. What am I supposed to do?

the PSU connector on your mobo should be 20 pin which is standard. to use your new PSU you need and adapter. ( one should have come wih the PSU)

My power supply setup is fine, but I can't plug up the button (the one on the front panel of the case) to the mobo. The cable that is attached to the button that is supposed to go to the mobo has 12 pins. The front panel input on the mobo has a 24 pin hookup. The motherboard is Biostar M7VIG 400.
