Help with Sims 2 Please

I would like to start off by saying that if I am posting this in the wrong place then I apologize

Whenever I try to run the Sims 2 a message pops up saying
Please eject and re-insert the CD-ROM, select ok and restart application

When I do this I just keep getting the same message

This is the second Sims 2 game I have tried

Please help me someone
