  1. How can I get rid of cashback spyware? I have XP Home. Ad-aware doesn't remove it.

    Thanks.

Try downloading Microsoft Anti-Spyware (free beta software) and run a full scan. Sld do the trick for you.

Thanks. I'll try it. My problem is I got some much junk poping up, I can't get any windows updates on it. The HD is constantly running.

Can I install SP2 in safemode?

If you aren't able to get to it on the web, Give me your email and I will attach the file. You have to be able to receive large files though.

    Well I got SP2 installed..but I don't think it's helping. It takes 20 mins to boot up.

Seems everytime I restart, I get the same spyware again.

I will run Ad Aware, MS anti-spyware, Norton Virus scan, then msconfig and do a selective startup. If that doesn't fix it, then I give up.

delete the files in yourprefetch folder by going to start - run - prefetch and select all the files. this should help to boot up quicker...:D
