I have been stricken with virus I have tried to get rid of in one way or another for a good 3 or 4 months.
The current symptoms are false 'notices' coming up trying to get me to install some of these Cleaners.. which I've researched to be more of viruses themselves. Usually they say something about 'cleaning tracks of adult sites' or something of that nature.
The thing is.. I use firefox solely.. I made the switch from IE to FF about 3 months ago... and everytime the 'notices' come up.. the top labels them "Microsoft Internet Explorer".
Furthermore, when I need to go on IE for something, I will automatically get some sort of pop-up on there upon start-up of IE.
I'm not sure where to start with this, any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
