Help!!!!!!

I have an FIC AN11 motherboard, jumpers set to ata100 and not raid.

Have a segate HD set to single/master on IDE3

Have my bootable drive on regular IDE1 as well as a slave and on IDE2 my DVD and CD Burner.

Everything works without the ata drive connected.... if i put the ata drive on the ide1.... I see my files... drive is good... clable is good.

when booting the system, it reads the ata100 drive from the bios... as soon as it gets tot he bood part of the startup (windows xp pro)... it freezes.... nothing but black screen.

HELP

IDE1 - Bootable Drive - Slave
IDE2 - CDRW and DVD
IDE3 - ATA drive
IDE4 - nothing

it is an FIC 1st Mainboard motherboard model AN11, 512 DDR RAM, Anthalon XP 1900+ Processor...

How many GBs is the Seagate drive you are putting on IDE3. If it is large maybe your powersupply isn't big enough to power up the whole system with 3 HDDs and 2 CDROMs. If you can, put the slave drive you have on IDE1 to IDE3 and the one on IDE3 to IDE1 and see if it will boot.
