HHD Issue, Won't initialize and shows wrong amount of space

  1. I just had my secondary hard drive go out on me so ordered a new one. It's a Seagate 2TB Barracuda. I hooked it up and formatted it and everything was going fine. Restarted my computer after doing some game updates and now it's not recognizing it as my Z drive and shows only 3.86 g of unallocated space under disk management. It automatically tries to initialize disk but that fails with the error "The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error." Tried Seatools and checked my bios the only place that it even recognizes it's plugged in is disk management and device manager. Posted a few pictures of what I was seeing. Any advice?
