  1. hello,
    Names anthony and i'm totally a noob with all the inner workings of a computer. i'm 19, going to college and i am eventually hoping to build my own PC but first have to upgrade this one a little.

    ok my graphics card isn't as high up to speed as i would like. I noticed i have an AGP 4x slot and i'm looking at getting a new card.

    first off does anyone have a suggestion as to a card i can get within a good price range?

    2nd will this one work?

    im pretty sure it should work. if you want a cheap card. you can get one for about 80 bucks. it is radeon 9550.

    well how would i be able to upgrade my cpu? i want a faster one but would i have to start all over with a new mother board and everything?

    it depends how much your mobo can handle. you going to have to see how many ghz the cpu can be. it should tell you in your mobo booklet and if your mobo supports the cpu that you want to put in it then you can upgrade your cpu. but if it doesnt your going to need a new mobo aswell.
