High Quality Music and Video updates for KOTOR2 Available

The long awaited media update is now available at the lucasarts website, for those that dont know when KOTOR2 was released the game contained low quality movies and music due to the lack of time obsidian had to create the game, a patch was mentioned some time ago to update the video and music to the intended High quality.

The updates are as follows

HQ Music update (145mb)

HQ movie update 6 files, 1 exe + 5 rars (195mb x5 1 at 185mb)

they do say download and use at own risk as there is no support for these files .

to use the updates just download and place them in the default kotor2 folder and run the exe's.

I haven't got the game but is it really worth it? I mean, whatever about the in-game music in better quality, Movies? 1GB of movie updates?!

It may not be essential to download them but if you buy a game it should be of the highest quality not some low Quality cack that Lucas arts released just to get as much cash as possible, This stuff should have been in the release version We shouldn't have had to wait for it as an update, as for 1gb of movies yeah there are a few scenes as well as the intro etc and the quality of video in the released version was piss poor, it looked like quality you would get on a 486 very pixelly small and didn't fit the screen correctly.
