high speed USB host controller ?.. help

    hi and hello

    The problem is that whenever i plug in my USB storage device, windows says that your USB can perfrom faster if you connect it to high speed port2, what does that mean, i can not find any thing such as hi speed prot2.

    and how can i install it, or is it a S/w or H/w

    high speed port 2 is a usb port somewhere on your pc if you plug the usb device into it it will be faster when its transfering data but nothing is wrong with your pc if thats all it says

    see the attached screen shot -- the first line under the controller is
    the USB 2.0 adaptor -- the others are USB 1.1
