HiJack This Log, Any advice appreciated.

    I’m attempting to get all the bugs out of a friend’s computer. (2.4 Ghz E-machine with Windows XP Home) I ran Hi Jack This and created the attached log file. I was able to identify one or two things from reading some instructions I found on this site, but most of this stuff is just a mystery to me. I’ll appreciate any advice on this topic.

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

    Your version of Hijackthis is out of date.

    Go HERE and follow the instructions carefully, especially about updating and hijackthis placement. Print the instructions out if you can.

    Once you have done that, post another Hijackthis log.
