Hi,

I'm having a couple of problems with the bosses PC and have done the normal.
ie: Safe mode.
Run NAV/Adaware/SpyBot S&D/Counter Spy.
Cleaned up everything.
Removed folders from the C:\Program Files etc.
Rebooted into Safe mode and run HJT.
Here's the log file.
The other problem I'm having is that when I open HJT in Safe mode, it comes up at 800x640 and I can see the bottom of the screen to clcik this. Is there anyway around this?
The Bosses PC has a 19" Widescreen Monitor with NiVidia AGP Card.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks
Schotty.

As far as HJT i am not sure...havent really used it much.. never really had the need... but what is your problem, you never mentioned what problem you are trying to resolve???

What mouse/keyboard is that boss using, a Microsoft Intellimouse or a Logitech?

There is so much rubbish on that PC, it's almost unbelievable!

Go here first, and let it clean up what it can:
http://be.trendmicro-europe.com/consumer/housecall/housecall_launch.php

Next, download Ewido Security Suite (trial) from http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".

Start Ewido. When you run it the first time, you get a warning "Database could not be found!". Click OK.
On the main screen, click on Update in the left menu, then click the Start Update button.
After the Update finishes, the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful".
-- If you have problems updating see here: http://www.ewido.net/en/download/updates/
Once the updates are installed do the following:
Click on Scanner
Make sure the following boxes are checked before scanning:
- Binder
- Crypter
- Archives
Click on Start Scan and let Ewido scan the PC.
While the scan is in progress, you will be prompted to 'Clean files', click OK
When the scan is done, you'll find a Save report button at the bottom of the screen.
Click 'Save report' and save it to your desktop.

Reboot your PC in Safe Mode, run Hijackthis again and post back bothe the HJT-log and the Ewido Scanlog as .txt attachments
