  1. Hi,

My system has been acting up the last day or so...running sluggish and programs will suddenly shutdown with no error messages etc...simply poof!

My logs are attached. Antirootkit was clean. :)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Kim

    Your HJT log is clean.

Delete all files in AVG Antispyware quarantine.

Install antivirus and firewall software and do a full system scan.

Please let me know the results.

    Regards Howard :)

    Hi Howard,

Okay...I installed AlarmZone and ran Housecalls online virus scanner.

Housecalls found the following and cleaned/removed etc. But I'm betting I need to do more to make sure these are gone for good. lol

    Adware_StatBlast

    Spyware_KeyL_ASTLog

    Casper1-2

I'm installing AVG antivirus right now. Ran AVG...which found Downloader.Generic2.WEW

    Thanks for your help. :)

    Kim

    Your HJT log is clean.

Try doing a Windows repair as per this thread HERE. If that doesn`t help, start a new thread in our Windows OS forum.

    Regards Howard :)
