Was trying to fix my CD-R drive, because it just wouldn't read any blank CD I put into it and in the process I managed to kill my DVD ROM drive. Just like a woman eh?
Anyways I found the problem with my CD-R drive, at some point I was a bit aggressive in pluging in the ribboned connection and seem to have bent 2 of the pins :knock: :knock:
So now I need to find a driver for my HL Data Storage DVD ROM GDR 8161B, which I believe might also be listed as LG GDR 8161B, I would be extremely grateful if someone could point me in the right direction!
