Hl2 Resolution Problem Need Immediate Help!!!

    I accidentally set my resolution much to high for HL2/Insurgency and now when I start up the game my screen just goes black and says not supported...is there a way I can reset the resolution for the game without having to actually have the game running?

    Also I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice with no luck...

    You can add -width and -height to the application parameters, like hl2 -width 1024 -height 768.

    Think if you go program files/ valve/ steam and delete config this will also work. good luck :)
