Hmm, having trouble finding a motherboard...

  1. I am having some trouble finding a new motherboard to buy. I have a 7950GT video card and I want to take it to SLI... I also have an FX-55 socket 939 CPU. The only problem is that I want to start using DDR2 800 memory but I can't find a socket 939 motherboard that supports DDR2 memory on newegg. Anyone know any good mobos that support these features or do I also have to upgrade my CPU to an AM2 socket...

Socket 939 cpu memory controllers only support DDR. The AM2 supports DDR2. If you want to use DDR2 memory, you'd have to upgrade to an AM2 motherboard and CPU.
