  1. I have a LG DVD-RW. My problem is how to clean the DVD's writing and reading head.My problem is that my DVD-RW doesn't copy files with the usual speed of 5000 KB/s but just with 400 KB/s .I use frequently my DVD-RW to read DVD's more than to write(Wathcing movies from DVD).

Any hint is welcomed with thanks.....

I usually use a can of air to clean my dvd drive. I keep it far enough away from the hole then push air into the hole and I don't push too hard on the air can nozzle because to much cold air from the can damage the laser in the dvd drive

You can also buy a cleaning CD (works on DVD drives as well).

I've never had much luck cleaning CD/DVD drives... When they start malfunctioning or slowing, it is time to replace them
