How do I allow friends to join my game?

    example: i start hosting an internet game of halo pc.... i give my friend my ip... he tries connecting to my ip.... and it doesnt work. why?

    i dont have a firewall up (aside from the firewall of the router)...

    is there a way to allow his ip to connect to mine?


    ...um... i have win xp... uh... router is linksys befsr41

    In the firewall you need to forward the ports needed by halo to your PCs local IP address.

    Or, if you feel that you ar not afraid of the intrenet and that security is for wusses, set you PCs local IP as the DMZ address in the router configuration.
