How do i connect two computers with local area netwok?

    I want to play Warcraft 3 over Local area network, but i don't have a clue what to do.Me and my friend both have cable internet and i'm the only person that has router . thanks

    I've used a router using straight cables for so long that I totally forgot about crossover cables :)

    A router with a straight cable connection is so much faster...
