How do I get GDI+ onto Windows 2000?

My computer at work uses Microsoft Antispyware. But I can't update it when updates are available because whenever I try it tells me that I need GDI+ on my computer (Win2k). Can anybody tell me what folder I should put the gdiplus.dll file into? The instructions on the Microsoft web site are vague to the point of being useless - it says something like put it in the program folder and not the system folder. What program?? Another site I looked at said to put it in the same folder as mapedit.exe, a file that doesn't seem to exist on my computer.
