how do i overclock my gateway 825gm?

  1. i have a gateway 825gm with a p4 processor. i guess gateway locked or hid the settings. any help would be great. the processor is a p4 550

    Most OEMs like Dell and Gateway hardware lock the motherboards. Try a Google search for your model of motherboard. You may just need to flash the BIOS. But that could also disable your Restore Disks.

    this is the mobo. Intel (South Lake) P4 550 800 MHz Motherboard R0

    :( yeah, i cant OC my sony computer cause they locked it too. yup it sucks :( i might as well buy a new mobo. but im just upgrading the cpu thats all i can do. whenever i thkn about sony it makes me puke: puke: im going to :unch: sony in the face
