  1. Is there a way I can prevent images from being displayed in Internet Explorer? I am using dial-up whose speed never exceeds 10 kbps. Waiting for the images to load always makes me want to blow the pathetic modem to pieces. Anyone?

Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab and uncheck the "Show Pictures" box. See if that helps.

    Thanks!

Just want to thank you guys for helping me out. At least now I don't have to wait for like 5 minutes for a page to fully load.
