How do I turn ON syncing Outlook notes in iTunes?

I remember there was a feature in iTunes for syncing notes from Outlook. But now I only see checkboxes for contacts, calendar and tasks. How to enable iTunes to sync notes again? Is there any workaround for that? I know I could switch to iCloud, but I'm not really sure I want to send my personal data to the 3rd party servers. I prefer storing data locally and iTunes looks like a perfect solution is my circumstances.

Understand your concern. Personally, I use a gmail account to sync my cellphone, tablet and pc for Contacts & Calendar events. iTunes is not required at all (y)
