how do you become a seeder in torrent?
i have to be online?
or i have to be in their page?(web site) log in?

You have to download the torrent file itself, then it downloads whatever, then once you have it all you become a seeder.

For example, I recently downloaded the Ubuntu 7.10 ppc iso with Azureus. I downloaded the 45k .torrent file. Azureus then begins to download the actual iso. I'm leeching it initially, then once I finish I become a seeder. Then, good etiquette is to remain a seeder until your ratio on it is at least 1.0.
