How do you change the Windows wallpaper ?

  1. i dont know if im in the right spot but i need help !! some how i can not change my desktop backgorund or save new pixs to use as background i can change the background color but thats it. i have treid everything that i have been told, i even called microsoft with no luck... please help??????????????

    The desktop background is also referred to as 'wallpaper' and it can be changed as follows:

    Control Panel> Display> Desktop tab> Background section> browse to the folder that has your pictures (My Pictures)> select the picture you want on the desktop> Open> OK> Apply> OK.

    You can do this whenever you want. Your monitor screen size may may a difference as to how the picture displays.
