How do you remove comodo toolbar?

  1. I recently installed comodo but it also has installed a toolbar

When I tried the help, it was listed as 'Ask toolbar'

I removed this using add/remove programs, but rebooted and the comodo toolbar is still there

How to use Reset Internet Explorer Settings (RIES)

To use RIES in Internet Explorer 7, follow these steps:

    1. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.
    2. On the Advanced tab, click Reset.
    3. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset.
    4. When Internet Explorer 7 finishes restoring the default settings, click Close, and then click OK two times.
    5. Close Internet Explorer 7. The changes take effect the next time that you open Internet Explorer 7.

Note for users who cannot start Internet Explorer 7 for some reason, use RIES from Internet Options in Control Panel.

    With Firefox

I always backup any bookmarks (depending on how really important they are)
    Then fully uninstall it
And then download and install the newest version

You can use the very simple, and easily viewed, RegCleaner, then edit the registry to remove it. All decisions are saved so you can restore them if you need to. You can find this free registry editor at www.majorgeeks.com. Get the one designed by Juoni Viuorno.
You can also use Tweak Now.
