How fast is your home internet connection?

At the moment I have 10Mb/s. I'm quite happy with it. My ISP doubles the speed every year. A couple of years back I had 60 kb/s download speed. Higher speeds are good, but if you don't download anything huge, this speed is just fine.

10MBPS.

Honestly I dont need more. more is always nice but I do just fine with what I have.
I've just been bumped up to your speed uncapped and unshaped this week from 1Mbps at no extra cost and I'm still reeling (happily) from it. Honestly speaking our connectivity speed (and connectivity in general) really sucks here despite the fact we have one of the high speed submarine cables landing right on our doorstep. Most of the country relies on obscenely overpriced 3G/4G mobile data. It's also a sad state of affairs when your telecoms service provider is a state owned and run monopoly.

I get around 16Mbps on ADSL and want to switch to FTC but waiting for a particular ISP to offer it. I now thinking of switching ISP as my ISP was taken over by SKY and just received advice of a significant price hike. I would expect better!

I live in the UK, near London and I'm on the unlimited BT Infinity Package but got a good deal at £25 a month. Speed wise I am getting 76MB/s down and 18.5MB/s Up.

An average month we seem to download anywhere between 700GB & 900GB (so we get our use out of it!) I believe the fair usage policy is 3TB a month so we're still a fair way off that mark!

I am hosting a teamspeak server, file server, web server and email server on the line, only I and a few friends use the server (between 10-20 people on at a given time) and the line seems to handle it all flawlessly. It has only gone down once in the year and a half we've had it installed and that was in the middle of the night for 5 minutes, guess BT being BT did some work at our exchange and didn't notify us.

Before that though, I was on AOL 4MB/s down and 0.2MB/s up! Lets just say, it was a huge improvement.

Edit: This is my Speedtest while my Server is busy, teamspeak and fileserver are quite busy and still getting pretty good speeds

Im currently on 5MB/s on AOL but I am up the Welsh Valleys. However, BT are putting down fibre optic liunes so maybe be able actually have some sort of internet connection! THough saying that my current price with l;ine rental is only £16 and when going to a 75MB BT Infinity, it would be £42 a month :(

75 Mbps down 25 Mbps up with a 200GB limit. Very happy with service, cost £25 per month on top of line rental in the UK.

Work pays however :)

Started with 10 mb fibre several years ago, which has since been doubled up several times for free.

Now on 100 Mb, £29 a month, Virgin media UK.

On 100mbps/2mbps but I doubt I ever get anywhere near that. it costs a fortune 120/month, and get shaped at peak hours. have just signed up fir a faster cheaper 1gbps/500mbps for 69/month on fibre but waiting for the installers to run the fibre cable from the road, a big queue.

Currently 75 Mbps up / 35 Mbps down with a FttP connection. Years ago I was with a different ISP and was running 20 Mbps up / 5 Mbps down with a cable connection. Paying less to be with the faster speeds. I could move up to a faster plan, but it does what I need it to do, so no complaints.

I got 200Mbit down, 20Mbit up in the Netherlands onCable
Unlimited. 40€ 4G phone is 50Mbit down 20Mbit up 8 Gig data plan. 50€

I live in London, England and have Virgin as my ISP with 60Mb/s, but they are constantly doubling or increasing speeds. Mine doubled about a year and a half ago, and it's increasing to 100Mb/s later this year for free. Fibre optics man!

20 Mbps in both directions (down/up), the lowest speed I could get on this connection (optical fibre to home) because this more than covers my needs.

250Mbps/20Mbps for ~22 euro/month in Poland. Though in reality it rarely exceeds 200Mbps download and I "only" get 100Mbps in my room, because I'm using a powerline adapter.

I still have the same unlimited 100/100Mbps connection I did four years ago, price is also still the same at 349SEK which translates to ca £32

I guess thats another reason im so happy with it, im in the middle of Appalachia and am lucky to be getting cable internet at all :p

1 GB/sec here for as low as 19 US $
damn, can't keep myself from drooling. :)
Globe Telecom Philippines, wimax, less than 1000php/month (<20$ u.s. at 1$~45php+)1mbps, with free burst up to 1.5mbps usually after 10-11PM) tax included.
...translates to about 128KBps actual download speed up to 192KBps...good enough for my internet surfing needs but not in the l4d/l4d2/d3 gaming = lag/too much ping.
...data cap at beginning of contract about 15-20gb/month more than 3 years ago, then about 15gb/month 2 years ago, then about 10gb/month currently. after data cap is reached, throttling occurs.

all from the Philippines who use a regular 1 mbps will droll in that speed. same as goes to me. but I only use my phones Internet(globe postpaid) which doesn't seem to be affected by the FUP. since the it almost 26GB data used in just 4 days. the day I updated my phone to wp8.1. 13mbps Max speed for me is ok :) ,

50 mbps download and 25 mbps upload, although Optimum said they would fix my signal leak a year ago and have never come since.
