how long should i keep my agp

I have an agp slot for my computer and the video card broke so i need to buy a new one beacuase it was a 2 year warranty. The computer itself is like 3-4 years old and since agp is losing to pci e i wanted to know i should get a new agp or switch to pci e then get a pci card. so should i keep my agp or switch to pci e?

Why not just buy a really cheap old AGP card similar to the one that broke?
