Could anyone tell me where I could find a diagram, chart or clear information that tells me exactly how many address pins are on the Pentium 4 processor?
I'm looking at a chart in Irv Englander's The Arch of Comp. HW and Systems SW book, and it shows that the Pentium 4's addressing capability dropped down to 32-bits (from 36-bits, which was the P6 family's addressing capability).
It doesn't make sense to me that the newer Pentium 4 would drop the number of address pins.
Thanks
