How many PCs do you own?

That are mine, 3 desktops and a laptop.

The other members of the household ad 1 desktop and 2 laptops.

I almost have enough in spare parts to build another one but I keep lending components out to people.

I have two systems:

My main system (an overclocked FX-8320 with an R9 390)

My cheap laptop (some sandy bridge i3 that I'm way too lazy to care about)

In my house I have 2 servers, 4 desktops, 4 laptops, 2 Raspberry Pis, 5 smartphones (4 android and 1 iPhone) and 3 tablets (2 android and 1 iPad).

Oh wait, I forgot the two smart phones, programmable toaster and waffle iron I hooked onto my I-robot .... supposed to bring me breakfast in bed, but so far is just runs under the couch and sets it on fire! Of course, it does smell really good ........

1x PC sold all my old parts to recoup my on my new build, 4690k+970+144hz monitor+1ms= yay

xbox one, xbox 360, smart phone

One gaming PC (Core i7+GTX 970) and an ultrabook (Asus Zenbook UX305FA). Love them both, they are the perfect mix for my entertainment and productivity needs.

I own three:

-Cooler Master HAF 932 Box (Core i7 3770)
-Cooler Master HAF XM Box (Core i7 3770)
-Asus laptop

Each PC has 32GB of RAM, 14TB of storage and a Titan X graphics card. It's overkill but with Mass Effect: Andromeda coming next year I don't want to take any chances.

1 beast of a desktop: (4790k @ 4.6ghz), 970 g1 gaming, 16gb RAM & 1 laptop (asus zenbook 4200u with 840m & 8gb RAM & SSD). Also have a Note4 smartphone & galaxy S 8.4 tablet. Don't plan on upgrading any of them for years! Except maybe the GPU on my desktop.

Current count is 22, ranging from:
- and original IBM PC in a box in the attic (worked last time I tried it)
- 4 servers
- a Raspberry Pi in my car (my phone will only charge when connected to a computer, and the Rasberry Pi works)
- an ancient 9" Dell netbook, also in the car, for the OBD system
I need to get off my duff and find new homes for at least 4 of the computers.

You do know you have to vacuum the bread crumbs out of the couch from time to time, or it wouldn't smell so good when it catches on fire? I of course, never do, but that's because I have no current or future aspirations of making a Roomba my b**ch...:p

If safety is becoming a concern for you, I'm sure they'll be making a Jimmy Dean Sausage and vanilla french toast scented Glade plug-in any day now. :)

One desktop running a Xeon 5675 with 24 Gig of ram and a R9 295 X2 on Windows 7 for gaming and running VM's. Second desktop running an i7 950 on 2012 Server for just running VM's. An old Y560P Lenovo laptop that's really showing its age but is still more than capable of doing my office work.

3 on a regular basis, plus 2 x Raspberry Pi2

My gaming PC.
My media PC.
My laptop.

I hardly ever need to touch my server, but if we're counting PCs in the house then this makes 4.
Oh, almost forgot my pfSense router computer, similar to my server I hardly ever touch it as it sits in the corner and "just works". but once again, if we're counting PCs in the house then this makes 5.

The future addition of a FreeNAS server will reduce the number of PCs by 2

i7-3930K, GTX970, 32Gb RAM, 30Tb storage
MSI GT ONE
Cintiq Companion 2
iPad 3
Smart TV linked to desktop computer

1 Desktop Computer (Primary)
1 Notebook (secondary)
1 HTPC I put together using scraps from junked OEMs

I don't. You see, I lease my PC back from the company I sold it to, and that way, it comes under the monthly current budget and not the capital account.

Using 2: family laptop, HTPC.
Own in addition: 3 more laptops, desktop PC, Windows tablet.

Mobile has definitely had an effect in that I play mostly on a tablet these days (although I also play some games with the kids on the HTPC).

I've got Two desktops (one at work one at home), A laptop, and a 2U desktop that I like to call a server. I plan to semi retire my home desktop and build a new system in 2016.

4; my desktop that I have listed being 1, a gaming laptop for when I leave for awhile, my business laptop (Only for work), and then my Surface Pro which I use when I travel but just need something easy to carry and work on.

I have a problem with adding computers to my fleet - I don't seem to know when to stop acquiring them.
3 healthy new AMD based desktops
2 old Dell/HP small desktops no idea what hardware in them
1 ancient Dell laptop
1 newer Lenovo T420
All running linux Mint
1 Intel Nuc yet to be assembled - also to run Mint
And almost forgot, an ancient Win7 beast - soon to be retired.
And of course the obligatory smart phone
Hoping to add an ubuntu based phone soon.

I own one gaming pc, one family pc, Huawei G620S smartphone, SAMSUNG LED SMART FHD TV 32" F5300 (I use it for watching movies, most of the time, and sometimes play games on it, replacing my PC monitor), another SAMSUNG TV EH4001 32" (non-smart).

My main pc (gaming, photoshop, wordpress... etc.):
CPU Intel C2D e8600 @3.33GHZ /w stock intel cooler (considering upgrade to 6th gen Pentium G4400 or an i3-6100)
MOTHERBOARD GA-P35-DS3L REV 2.0 (considering upgrade to some ASUS H170 or Z170 mb)
RAM 4gb ddr2 at 800Mhz OCZ Reaper, had 2 more sticks of G.Skill 2GB Pi, but started having problems with my mobo - using it in my other pc (considering upgrade to either DDR3 or DDR4 RAM, 2x4 GB or one 8GB stick, still thinking about which one, since there isn't much difference between speeds of DDR3and 4) What upgrade would you suggest, DDR3 or DDR4 RAM?
GPU X1 Sapphire Radeon R9 280X DUALX VAPORX 3GDD5 384BIT
HDDs
1x SAMSUNG EVO 850 250GB SSD; 1x 2TB Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 HDD; 1x 320GB Seagate Barracuda (SATAII)
CASE ThermalTake ArmorMX+
PSU ThermaTake SmartSE 630W
SOUND Logitech z5500 - 5.1 surround sound system
MONITOR SAMSUNG 22" 2232BW (1680x1050) LCD Monitor
PRINTER: AIO CANON fax, copier, scanner, printer, laser b/w
PERIPHERALS: Razer Lycosa, Razer Salmosa, SteelSeries mini mouse-pad

The family pc is as follows:
C2D E7500 at 2,93GHz, 2x 2GB G.SKILL pi DDR2 RAM, ABIT p35 MOBO, generic case GEMBRID, PSU MS Pro 550W, SAMSUNG 19" 4:3 LCD Monitor

3 desktops that are fully functional (2 are obsolescent and not actually in service). All three are home built. I have only owned one store-bought desktop PC - a Northgate 286-AT clone bought in 1987, before I realized that building a PC at home from parts is actually pretty easy, and you usually end up with a more powerful machine for the same price.
Enough salvaged components in the spare parts box to build a couple more desktops, although most of my half-dozen salvaged video cards have AGP bus connectors (the very oldest one is ISA bus!), for which there are probably no more motherboards being made.
3 fully functional laptops (two 15", one 17"), plus an old Dell 520 that has a dead display screen but is still useable by connecting it to an external monitor. I could buy a replacement display screen for the Dell for about $85, but with brand new entry level laptops costing less than $300, and having 10 times the mojo of the Dell 520, it would be kind of pointless to replace the screen. If a new screen was no more than $20 including sales tax, I'd probably do it, just to have a functional backup laptop, but not for $85 plus tax.
1 Samsung 8" tablet, which I use mostly as a car navigation system and e-book reader. This tablet is going on 2 years old, and the battery's charge capacity is starting to decline, so I expect to be replacing the tablet by the end of next year. As with the laptop screen, replacing the battery in the tablet will likely be not worth the cost and effort, with new tablets being so cheap.

Six desk/lappy's that appear to be fully functional
somewhere between 40 and 90 fully to not-so-much, computing devices.. I am just Too Bizzy to go and count.
One coupon for a combo Bobcat with full scoop and dump-truck rental (10 cubic yards) and six neighborhood volunteer operators as an early Christmas present from the wife.
