  1. I use internet within a network. I fear my surfing, downloading, uploading and all online activities are being watched. Is there a way this can be prevented.

One thing, beside my user account I can also login with administrative privilages

The best option would be to use it "Standalone"

But if you have to use it across a network, then at least get a good personal firewall

If you are on a network at work, forget it. If your IT people have a clue, they can see everything. I do it for a living. Use your home computer. Violation of your company's policy, may get you fired.

Actually, this is my isp's network who supply internet from home to home. we are on workgroup. I am concerned about privacy, there is nothing to do with violations.
