How to format while on setup?

Hi, i have a new pc, and i need to get rid of whatever is on my hard drive.


I need to do this without accessing my user account, this is because I'm using VISTA, and i cant activate it since its activated on another computer, so it logs me out; therefore i cant access my account.

So im wondering if theres a way to get rid of everything on my hard drive without accessing my user account?

What exactly do you want to get rid of. ?

Download a Windows 98 SE boot disk and use the FDISK option to remove the partition, poof everything gone, (unless you run one of those recovery programs.

Ok, I managed to get rid of EVERYTHING in the hard drive.

Now, when i turn on the pc with a O/S disk inside, it will install it right?
