How to formating and partitioning the secound hard drive?????

Hello All
I am a newbee and have a qution about partitioning and formating the hard drive , I have a 80 gig hard drive and want to formate it and creat a 2 partition but when i try to reinstall the windows(XP PROFFESTIONAL) it only formates the C drive and not the D rive which is the other drive on the same hard drive how do I get to have the D drive formated also .

Hello All
I am a newbee and have a computer that has two hard drives.
I was able to format my secound hard drive by going into the MY COMPUTER hen clicking on the secound hard drive then right clicking on the mouse and formate but how do I partition it,
Any help would be graetly appriciated

Assuming you have XP, right click on My Computer and select Manage. Go to the Disk Management icon.
