How to Install Chrome OS on Your Windows Laptop

I don't know if it is laptop only or not, I'm not an expert on this. However, I want to ask WHY you want to do this? I think your answer to that will help the TS community be able to better help you overall.

IMO if you want to play around with other operating systems your best bet is to do something in the linux world. You can get a usable desktop environment almost immediately and its 100% free. Getting the things you are used to just working on Windows may be a different story though. You need to know that operating systems are different, they share a lot of similarities but they ARE different, and fundamentally they are different for various reasons. So if you want some flavor of Linux to run exactly like Windows XP/7/10 or you want Windows to run like OS X, or Linux to be like OS X, you are going to be disappointed, you can FORCE them to behave and or look similar, but they are fundamentally different, and without understanding that, you are probably going to be disappointed.
