How to Install Windows 98 SE on 80GB Hard Disk

Hi!

I have PIII 500Mhz with Intel original 440BX Mother board, I want to install Windows 98 SE on a New 80GB Hard disk. I tried to install it but it only recognize only 32GB Hard Disk. Can some body tell me how?

"It" being BIOS or Windows?

If the mainboard doesn't detect the hard disk correctly, you could check if there's a BIOS update for it, or check from hard disk manufacturer's site if they have a workaround for the 32 GB limit.
 
is your problem that the bios only recognizes 32GB or the windows inistallation only recognizes 32GB..

FAT file system of old win9x from reading around would not support that large of a hdd.

you can try going into fdisk and repartion your hdd like 4 20gig partitions making sure you set one as an active partion of course...
