Having bought a new RAM stick it is clear that using the 256 is certainly better than the old 128M. However I remember reading that in some tests 256 gave better, more fames per sec, than 384M, for some unspecified reason.

How I can measure the performance of my sticks seperately and together to determine the best situation for my pc ?
Is there some test software to do this ?
Or perhaps a technique using existing windows features ?

Thanks in advance guys

it might be because of latency, the best thing is use a benchmarking software but they dont offer real world test(some games do) so 384 MB might increase system performance overall and load times but the rest are dependant on the card and the cpu.
