How to read your own minidump files

    I'm sure it's in other posts on the boards, but wanted to share this again with all the folks who post their minidump files because they don't think they can read them themselves (like me yesterday!). For those of you interested in doing your own investigation of your minidump files, you can install Windows Debugger from the Microsoft website http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/devtools/debugging/installx86.mspx. Finding the process that was causing the error was just a matter of Googling the results until I found a program that I recognized and uninstalling it.

    It probably won't help everyone, but may prevent you have having to reinstall your OS!!
