How to resolve if my Computer always restarting?

I had been installed XP in my pentium 4 computer. It sad to think that if i will open it,it stuck on "welcome" and turn Hang. Sometime when i open again it will reach to main desktop and then it will reboot again.

What will be the problem of my computer????
How to resolve this???

we need to know more about your PC - how much RAM , hard drive size, motherboard model etc etc. Also did this system run OK with another type of windows?
