How to split an ISO file into 2?

Does any1 know how to separate an ISO of 1.2 Gig into 2 ISO for a CD-R?

What burning program are you using ? ? ?
This is called spanning which most are capable of.
Or you could do a search for a prog. called chainsaw.

I use Nero. I had a look at chainsaw which seems great for my purpose (I have an image of family pix that I gotta fit on CD-R) Will the same works for a bootable of 900 Mb?

Why do you need a CD with photo's to be bootable? ?
Just curious.

You could also just select enough photos that will fit on a CD and do it that way.

the bootable CD is another thing. I was just wondering why some softs come with 2 or 3 CD's and how do you manage to split an ISO file that is too big to fit on a CD-R?

If your'e copying software CD's i'm afraid you will find NO help here...

no at all my friend, I buy the softwares I like. I don't wanna do nothing like copying softwares, I am just curious how the thing works.
